And that’s why we have to be relentless in sharing valuable information.
Moving along…FOZA is sending a shout-out to Fuller Doulas, MamaBirthdServices, NK-The Whole Mom and VelaHaven These maternal health workers hosted an Amazing Community Baby Shower Event @ the Huntington Community Center on September 21st in Bowie MD. and very special thanks to Postpartum Support International MaryLand Chapter, and the many other vendors, speaker and professionals who supported this awesome event, for over a hundred attendees of moms and family who came out. We invite you to visit the FOZA site for an IG link to view some of the festivities. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAg-up8JZFe/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Today, we have with us Susan Aquayo, CEO and President of Kassy’s Kause; a 501c3 organization dedicated to spreading the awareness of perinatal depression that can be experienced during pregnancy.
The birth of Kassy’s Kause stemmed from the sudden and tragic death of Susan’s daughter, Kassandra A. Williams, who died by suicide …related to perinatal depression.
We focus a lot on postpartum depression, but in this episode, we want to place our attention on the effects of not recognizing and treating perinatal depression and how devastating it can be when not properly diagnosed and left untreated.
Please join in and see why "No One is Immune" and the ways Kassy's Kause helps families that may be experiencing perinatal depression or PPD
